The Story of Bismarck
The Bismarck was one of the most powerful and feared warships of World War II. After a tense chase across the Atlantic, a lucky torpedo hit from an old Swordfish biplane jammed the Bismarck's rudder, leaving her unable to steer. On the morning of May 27, 1941, British battleships closed in and pounded the Bismarck with hundreds of shells before she finally sank beneath the waves. Of her crew of over 2,200, only 114 survived.
